American Heroes Racing Inc., and its sister team Canadian Heroes are an extreme rarity in the racing world; the American team and the Canadian team will be working together to fulfill each other’s mandate and they hope to be able to run a full ARCA racing series present by Menards, Camping World Truck, and Nationwide Series schedule. American Heroes Racing Inc. is in the process of becoming a registered not-for-profit corporation, and never before in the Countries history has a grassroots team been formed to race in honor of our fallen. There are four cars being entered during Speedweeks 2012. With the Inaugural race for the ARCA series taking place on February 18th, American Heroes Racing Inc. will be fielding the 31 car, driven by Mike Harmon. The sister team Canadian Heroes will be fielding the 06 car, which will be driven by Jeremy Petty. Entered in the Camping World Truck Race, is the American Heroes Racing Inc. 74 truck driven by Wheeler Boys on February 24th. The following day, American Heroes Racing Inc. will be fielding the 74 Nationwide Series car driven by Mike Harmon. Each race will be a Memorial Race for a specific fallen Soldier, and will feature the Soldier’s picture on the car. Family members of the Soldier will be in attendance. The teams currently working in partnership with American Heroes Racing Inc. and Canadian Heroes are Mike Harmon Racing and Peterson Motorsports.

Unlike a typical canopy type zip line tour, riders are secured into a “chair” that gives guests freedom of movement for the arms and legs.    

“It’s sister attraction, the Royal Rush Skycoaster, has had tremendous success at the park and has not only been a good business decision, but an extremely popular venue with our guests, and the Soaring Eagle will be just a thrilling and popular,” said Bandera.    The Royal Rush has proven to be an internationally acclaimed thrill ride. Guests swing out from a 100 foot tower, and over the Royal Gorge, about 1,200 feet below. The Royal Rush and The Soaring Eagle are both extra pay features in the park.

Stomach Acid    98% – closely corresponds with the amount of people showing mineral imbalances (see later in this table). Stomach acid liberates minerals from foods and this unbound ionic form is the only way we can absorb and subsequently utilize them.

Constipated    58% had slow moving bowels which results in auto-intoxication, weight gain (more calories are absorbed form the stool while it sits in the colon) and subsequent free radical damage.

Food Intolerance (involving IgG antibodies)    80% had more than 4 symptoms of food sensitivity problems; only 12% of this group were laboratory tested and 100% of those tested had the most severe reaction to yeast, 100% had a severe reaction to cow’s milk, 75% had a moderate reaction to gluten. Other foods with mild-moderate reactions were found, but were different for each individual.

History of Antibiotic Use    74% had an extensive history of antibiotic use. Anti means ‘against’ and biotic means ‘life’: antibiotics destroy live beneficial bacteria in the digestive system which makes way for the proliferation of digestive yeasts such as candida (closely correlates with Food Intolerance results). Interestingly, chronic stress depletes mineral levels (higher demand) and contributes to blood glucose imbalance which instigates the stress reaction and so an increase in inflammation, this is a vicious cycle occurring on a cellular level.

Answer: The condition is obviously worse the longer the person has had time to develop veins. Answer: As you know the medical profession do not accept that a person can be Rosacea free, only symptom reduced. Monitoring the clients who underwent accompanying nutritional support in conjunction with IPL is without doubt the most successful outcome, but to give an accurate statistic on this would require follow up on those who completed both treatments.

8.    What kind of Nutritional Balancing programme does an individual need to follow to support their IPL treatment?

Answer: Each individual is assessed on current symptoms, including their Rosacea and what triggers flushing, and a programme is developed in accordance with the Nutritional Therapist’s findings.

9.    How is the assessment performed?

Answer: initially two questionnaires are completed online, one is a Full Questionnaire that assesses all bodily systems, the other is a Digestive Questionnaire which looks at all factors of digestion which is commonly the most problematic system in those with Rosacea. Once the responses are analysed, the client may be asked further questions, or requested to carry out a simple home test or two to check a suspected problem (such as low stomach acid). In some cases laboratory testing is advised where there are significant symptoms to suggest further investigation is necessary. Then, when the Nutritional Therapist has a clear picture of the client’s personal health profile, she can tell them more precisely what programme of address she recommends and outline the costs involved. At this point they can decide to go ahead or not.

10.    How long is the programme for?

Answer: it really depends on what needs to be addressed. In most cases a 6-8 week programme is followed and the person continues to get IPL, the earlier the person starts this programme the better. In other cases, clinical tests are undertaken such as Food Intolerance testing (blood), urine or stool sampling or Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis. This would be in cases where there were obvious signs and symptoms to suggest an underlying contributing factor that would hinder the more usual 6-8 week programme.

11.    What does it involve?

Answer: for the majority of people, it is simply dietary changes (excluding some foods while introducing healthier options), a supporting supplement prescription, digestive address and a specific herbal tea therapy; this is what we have seen the best outcomes with.

Conclusion

Rosacea is a stressful condition to have, and it is not just a skin problem but rather a collection of underlying issues. Traditional treatment for Rosacea with the long term use of antibiotics can lead to poor digestive function, small intestine bacterial overgrowth, candida infection, mineral deficiencies/imbalances, food intolerances involving the immune system and blood glucose problems. When their paths unwittingly cross during a violent racial outbreak, their fateful encounter instantly reshapes their lives, permitting them to transcend their differences and exorcise the ghosts of their pasts. Their unlikely bond ultimately thrusts them into the beginnings of the Civil Rights movement as they courageously join forces to battle a terrorist hate group like those that have haunted their pasts.

Roosevelt Turner is a black, orphaned sharecropper’s son with dreams of a better life in the North. His story—like that of his Jewish counterpart, Jacob Perlman—follows a plotline tied to myriad historical touch points. Roosevelt’s childhood is based on true events that occurred in Rosewood, Florida—an all-black town destroyed during a violent racial outbreak in the 1920s. Roosevelt’s adolescence and young adulthood are controlled by the Jim Crow laws, lynching, mob rule, and other forms of institutionalized racism that existed in Depression-era Gainesville. His dream of a northern utopia—or “Promised Land”—was pervasive throughout the South as blacks were recruited by northern job agents with promises of better jobs, living conditions, and civil liberties, while southern business interests, dependent upon cheap black labor, conspired to keep blacks tethered to the South.

Roosevelt’s experiences during his six-month odyssey mirror those of legions of rural blacks who fled the South to find defense jobs and a better life in industrial northern cities during World War II—and whose collective journey ultimately changed the face of America. Confronted with northern bigotry marked by workplace tension, “hate strikes,” and terrorist hate groups seeking to enforce traditional racial barriers, blacks had to seize unprecedented wartime opportunities to remake the South, dismantle the worst of white supremacy, and attain permanent entry into blue-collar, upwardly mobile occupations.

“Blood in the Promised Land” reminds readers that the United States is a melting pot in which the black experience, as well as the Jewish one, is a significant part of its story. Sefrin states of the novel, “I wanted to tell the stories of two men who are polar opposites in terms of race, religion, education, and roots, and yet who find commonalities that ultimately draw them together on a bold, life-changing quest….people need to see beyond their obvious differences, transcend the stereotypes that often define who they are, and form alliances that strive to achieve a common good.” Black History Month is the perfect opportunity to explore through a novel how diversity has shaped the United States and made it stronger while continuing the work of those who fought for freedom for all—regardless of color, race, gender, or religion.
